International Samba Festival Coburg (11.-13.7.2025)

This weekend, Vibrasil Samba Show had the joy and honor of taking part in the world’s largest samba festival outside of Brazil – the legendary Coburg Samba Festival, held in the charming Franconian town of Coburg, Germany!

Since 1992, this festival has brought a vibrant Brazilian flair to the streets of Coburg, transforming the small town into what many lovingly call “Little Rio.” Each year, around 3,000 artists and up to 180,000 visitors from all over the world come together to celebrate samba, rhythm, and cultural unity in a magical atmosphere.

And we were right there — performing, connecting, and celebrating every beat with incredible dancers, musicians, and artists from all over the globe.

From street samba to big stage shows, drumming acts to dance performances, workshops to parades — the energy was unstoppable. The Coburg Samba Festival is more than just a party; it’s a powerful meeting point for European samba schools and blocos, and a true symbol of joy, peace, and diversity.
